ABOUT

Dr. Ryan Albert is a vibrant and compassionate chiropractor and acupuncture provider practicing in Toronto, Ontario. He holds a Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College having graduated cum laude in 2017. He completed his certification in Contemporary Medical Acupuncture from McMaster University in 2016. Dr. Albert also holds an Honors Bachelor degree from McMaster University in Biology with a minor in Psychology. In between post-secondary degrees, Dr. Albert spent three years working at the University Health Network’s intensive care units facilitating research in critical care medicine. In this time, he had an opportunity to observe and appreciate the incredible efforts of the inter-professional health care system. From a young age, Dr. Albert knew he wanted to be part of the health care field, but was still unsure where he fit into the mix. It was around this time that Dr. Albert was experiencing constant headaches and other musculoskeletal complaints and decided to go visit a chiropractor that had come highly recommended. It was this experience that stimulated the ‘eureka’ moment. Dr. Albert realized that chiropractic was the perfect fit for him. It encompassed his admiration for the intricacies of the human body, his love for educating others on health and well being as well as his desire to help others and create a positive impact in their lives.

Dr. Albert’s goals in practice are two-fold: The first is to help others achieve a greater state of health and admiration for their bodies than they are currently experiencing. The second is to educate and promote on the concept of proactivity, in other words, making positive or necessary changes before crisis strikes.

Dr. Albert is a strong advocate for anything that gets people active and out of their sedentary lifestyles. Since the age of fourteen, with guidance from his parents, Dr. Albert has been weight training and exercising in many different capacities. He also grew up playing volleyball, skiing (snow & water) and attending an overnight camp in Muskoka, Ontario, where he learned a vast appreciation for all outdoor activities. More recently, Dr. Albert has found a new passion; training in Muay Thai, and hopes to work toward earning his 'blue shorts'.
